Inside helmet has stamped, "Box 3562" "CLEVE" 18.0. There is no other brand name such as; The Sports Product Corp., Laich Industries, or Bobbie Enterprises. We are assuming the "CLEVE" means it was manufactured in Cleveland. All the helmets we received had the same stamp markings inside the helmet and came from a long time collector of vintage memorabilia. Notice the residue left behind from the once attached foam padding along the sides of the helmet and center "square". Pre-1969 souvenir helmets had the foam padding but throughout the years has worn off. This truly is a RARE find of early manufacturing for souvenir batting helmets.
